Certification

Konouz has developed a certification system that defines the standards and classification of each replica.

Each Konouz piece is accompanied by an official certificate issued by Konouz in collaboration with the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities, the country’s highest authority on archaeology and heritage preservation under the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities. Every certificate bears the Ministry’s official stamp together with the Konouz Crest of Quality, a mark reflecting the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, scholarship, and cultural respect. The Konouz Crest of Quality incorporates symbolic elements drawn from ancient Egyptian heritage, including the Bennu bird, associated with renewal, and the Rosette of Seshat, connected to knowledge and design.

Each artifact is also accompanied by a scholarly narrative based on verified historical research, providing context for the object’s origin and cultural significance.
